INTERCULTURAL MISSION
The Arabisk Sprogcenter sees itself not only as a language school but as a place where cultures meet and exchange.
Language is not only a set of grammatical rules combined with vocabulary lists to be studied. Language is first and foremost a tool to connect people and
cultures. Our "Intercultural Arabic" course focuses on building bridges in intercultural issues. Cultural and social topics such as values, traditions, social life, religions and heritage of the Arab World will be discussed. This course is designed to create cultural awareness and a better understanding of the Arab norms and values. There will be ample opportunity to discuss student specific areas of interest. The course also includes an optional cultural trip.

Institutional
Intercultural Communication
Manoeuvring everyday situations in a multi-cultural classroom or daycare setting is not always without its challenges. Seemingly small issues can cause offence and misunderstandings occur. The focus of this course is building bridges between the cultures. Cultural and social topics such as values, traditions, social life, religions and heritage will be discussed with special focus on.cultural awareness and a better understanding of the Arab norms and values.
This course is tailor-made for social workers and personel in schools and daycare institutions in Denmark!!!
